A pregnant pause is a momentary stillness laden with significance. It is rich, prolific, provocative, wow. It is a threshold for ideas and can translate into one to one thousand emotions. It welcomes imagination and brims with untold possibilities. Sometimes, it is even pinched with humor. Life's most unforgettable moments are highlighted by pregnant pauses. Now, I gladly share with you mine.

Motherhood
"Mothers are fonder than fathers of their children because they are more certain they are their own."
Thank you for visiting my blog. Love this photo of mother and child. Enjoyed your movie list. You sure know a lot of movies. As for Aristotle's quote, fathers today are committed, loving and dedicated towards their children as their mothers.
Oh, you bet. I totally agree there are many SUPER fathers out there both today and during the time of the Greek philosophers - my husband and my own Daddy included! (",)
I believe Aristotle was referring to that singularly unique and extraordinary bond that exists between mother and child which is breathtaking to behold in its beauty. He tried to put his finger on it and that's what he came up with in his day. Very interesting, don't you think? c",)
I was stopping by to thank you for topping by my blog. What an interesting quote. I celebrated the 4th birthdays of my identical twin daughters yesterday and would like to think that if anyone can, I can challenge that quote ;-)
Michael - Happy Birthday to your daughters! Must be very exciting to have twins - double the trouble and double the joy! I'm sure you're a terrific Daddy! c",)
Julie & Bearette - Muchas gracias! Catch you again soon! c",)
Parlancheq - Go! I highly recommend it. Afterwards, the only thing you'll have to worry about is finding enough albums and frames to store your gazillions of photos! c",)

Thanks, Lizza! I'm now hard at work on the movie meme. Sigh! c",)
Holy...! Is that you? And that your son? What a great picture of the both of you if it is!
Ian
Yup! That's me and my boy Niccolo. c",)
My husband is a professional photographer. One of the reasons I married him is to be assured that I get good photos all the time. BwaHaHa!
Have a great weekend, Ian! c",)

Beautiful photo!
wowow, you're both beautiful!
btw, there have been studies done that show that quote may be true, especially in maternal relatives vs. paternal relatives...
What a beautiful portrait of you and your son. His eyes are stunning...you are such a blessed woman!
Jessie, Phaedrus & Peg - Thanks! Mwaaaaah! c",)
Great picture! Our family photos are never anywhere near that good. I think I need to find myself a professional photographer husband! :)
