Potty Head

Keen Parental Insight of the Day:

Successful potty training is rendered nearly improbable when the potential recipient of desirable behavioral conditioning is of the staunch mindset that the crucial item ingeniously designed for use at his bottom.....

.....is much better suited for proud display right smack atop his head like a sleek fireman's helmet.

Maybe the impish trainee's poor chargrined mother should have just purchased the sky blue potty instead of the red.

Oh pooey!

Ha! Looks like you'd better get the blue one. Blue for Poo, Red for Head. Perhaps a Green for Peein'?

Oh, that is so cute. I'm trying to potty train my son right now too. I think I'm glad he can't wear it as a hat. It'd be waaaaay too distracting.

The Winged Acrophobic: A rainbow spectrum of potties to suit every occasion - not a bad idea! Bwahaha! ;p

SQT: Good luck! We hapless mommies need all the help we can get. :p

Haha that's a good....you make it sounds so artistically nice :D

All of a sudden, I have to go to the bathroom.

Cute kids!

Sweet helmet.

That's hysterical -- it totally looks like a fireman's hat! This made me laugh so hard!
:)

Shionge: Hmmm. I don't know about artistic...but thanks! :p

Dan: Correction please. Those two photos are of just one kid. This loony mommy can take only one pooping fireman trainee at a time. Haha! ;p

Diesel: Want one? :p

Clare: Glad to have brought a bit of cheer your way. I just wonder if my son will find this post amusing when he sees it 20 years from now! ;p

I think I got lucky in the potty training department.

It was a breeze to potty train Josh & Faith. Faith only wears diapers at night and if we're going on a long car trip -- like traversing south super highway in traffic!

My problem now is this: Faith is deathly scared of the automatic toilet flush in mall restrooms. Refuses to sit! So I have to put a diaper on her. :-(

Oh.... is he going to be mad at you in about 12 years.

Irene said...

Mench: If my goddaughter Faith is afraid of toilet flushes, then Niccolo is just the opposite. If he could, he would flush all our belongings down the bowl! =)

Pamela: That's exactly what my husband said! :p

What's funny is that the potty seat seems to fit his head quite well!

Ha! These pics are too adorable. I loved your line "impish trainee's poor chargrined mother." Great blog.

I love your funny post, photos and comments too.
Your little man looks amazing!
Good luck !

Irene said...

Ms. Val: I know. Maybe I can incorporate the potty seat in his Halloween costume this year! :p

Echo: Thanks for visiting me and linking my site to your blog. I'll do the same for you. Woohoo!

Krystyna: Thanks, dahling! Have a great weekend ahead! =)

This could be a catalyst for a whole collection of elegant commode-based fashion accessories. Toilet paper scarves, bowl scrubber back scratchers, shower curtain lingerie, urinal cake deodorants. Finally, one of my ideas is going to make me a thousanaire. I’m pretty much ok with it if you want to run with the idea. All I ask is 1% of gross revenue from the venture deposited into my bank account at the end of each fiscal quarter. ;-)

Slaghammer: You're on! I can already taste the ridiculous amount of money our venture is sure to rake in. Hooray for potty heads! ;p

Clare: Wow, thanks for the tag! Will get around to it soon. =)

Lovely Laura: Great to hear from you again! I can't wait to (correctly)guess another mushroom soon. ;p

Queen Mimi: Thanks, my fabulous friend! Hope all is great with you and Bud. You have my warmest hugs always! =)
