Gratitude

This last holiday season, I felt incredibly happy as I savored the priceless treasures in my life.

My miracle of a son...

My fabulously devoted husband...

My awesome parents and super brothers...

And my husband's surprise Christmas gift to me - a brand new Canon IXUS 900Ti...

Woohoo!!!

And how were your holidays?

Can you remember me?
Long time no see, I have a not very cold winter and now in China I can visit blogger normally!
I don't know about whether Philippines also have the Christmas, but the new year is we both own, so I should say a later "Happy new year" to you.
You son is so lovely!

Ju Pengfei: Of course I remember you! I'm glad to know you can now blog without problems. Welcome back! =)

Yes, we celebrate Christmas in the Philippines. In fact, it's our country's biggest and longest celebration. There's always so much delicious food, sparkling lights everywhere and happy reunions for families and friends.

New Year's is also a big deal here bursting with plenty of beautiful fireworks and loud firecrackers.

Advanced Kung Hei Fat Choi to you!!!

Masago: Thank you! I hope your 2007 is off to a great start. =)

Dan: I've always believed that grateful people are happy people. (",)

Hope all's well and good on your end. Take care!

I had my family around, that was great.

Your family is gorgeous!

And I have the same camera, I love it.

Darla said...

your son is adorable!! I love the family pics too. :)

Irene said...

ZeroImpact: Wonderful. And may the year 2007 be just as great for you and me both! =)

Margo: I think I'm actually a more hopeless shutterbug than my husband...and he's the professional photographer! HAHA!

Theresa: It's a great camera, isn't it? I haven't stopped shooting anything and everything since I got it. It's driving my husband nuts! I think he's beginning to regret giving it to me. Bwahaha!

Glad to know you had a happy Christmas with your loved ones. =)

Darla: Thanks, sweetie! Have a good weekend ahead! =)

Kumusta ka Irene?

Well, my holidays were fine and it was awesome, the Philippines. And miss it there so much already!!!

Irene said...

Handsome Houseband: Salamat! =)

Jase: I just have to say that I enjoyed reading your alliteration-peppered comment. Simply funtastique! ;p

Tim: That's great to hear! It's being surrounded by those we love and who love us in return that make holiday moments extra special. =)

Krystyna: How's everything, my friend? Hope your 2007 is off to a wonderful start!

Keshi: Awwwww! Thanks! =)

Mench: Fabulous idea!

But I should warn you. Niccolo ignores all the little girls who try to catch his attention. He would much rather play rough with the big boys. That being said, he'll probably really enjoy hanging around Joshua! =)

Let's do it. And the mommies should have coffee and make tsismis while the kids play! :p

Smalltown RN: Thanks! Have a joyful new year ahead as well!

Kyels: Come back again, then! You know you're always welcome in these islands! ;p

Ha...
In the past I don't know that Christmas is a big celebration in Philippines, and I always think Philippines is also in Asia and the customs should be as China.
In China the biggest celebration is the lunar New year!
And it can lasts more than one month, the most of the city also have many entertainments but now some cities' government is prohibiting burn the firecrackers...
The lunar New year is coming in more than 40 days... It's the "real" New year in China!

Ju Pengfei said...

I noticed there's a "fresh pauses" on your blog, I know that's your recent posts.
But how to get this item on my blog?
I have tried to edit the blog's "css", but I can't find where can show the "recent posts".
Could you tell me?

Ces said...

Dirk Star: Thank you! It's wonderful of you to drop by. Hope to see you back here frequently. =)

Princess Shin: Yupyupyup! The loony shutterbug is on the prowl...

SQT: Thanks. Hope you're having a happy weekend!

Ju Pengfei: The lunar new year is also celebrated here by the Chinese among us. Kung Hei Fat Choi!

I'll get back to you on your question about blog formattiing. I have to review first. =)

Ces: Awwww.... Salamat! I hope 2007 is starting out great for you and your loved ones. (",)
